Affects of Data Engineering on Society in the New Century

"Engineering in the long-run is irrelevant ".That's just what a client of mine told me when I created a display to him in regards to a new product. I have been discussing the product's features and advantages and outlined "state-of-the-art engineering" or something to that impact, as you of them. That's when he created his statement. Engineering is definitely an enabler

Not as numerous companies, but you have Intel, AMD, ARM, and a host of companies building custom quad core processors (Apple, Samsung, Qualcomm, etc). Therefore again, very little of a competitive advantage. Opposition from competitive technologies and easy use of IP mitigates the perceived competitive advantageous asset of any specific technology. Android versus iOS is an excellent example of how this works. Both systems are derivatives of UNIX. Apple used their engineering to add iOS and gained an earlier industry advantage. But, Bing, utilizing their plan of Unix (a competitive technology), caught up fairly quickly. The causes with this rest not in the underlying engineering, but in how the merchandise created probable by those technologies were brought to advertise (free vs. walled backyard, etc.) and the variations in the proper thoughts of every company.
