Big, Showy and Elegant Lilies

Asiatic lilies are the first ever to blossom in may or august and they are really colorful with brilliant drastic shades: red, yellow, orange, purple, etc. these lilies   The Lilium are somewhat shorter than the orientals, e.g. three to four legs compared to five to six feet. But often they have no scent. They multiply readily. It is maybe not unusual to purchase one asiatic lily 12 months and have 4-6 blooming lilies a couple of years later.
